The Asia-Pacific International Model United Nations Program is established as the first and unique Regional Model among all the other existing university-level MUNs in Asia.

APMUN is organized by the ASEAN Regional Center of Excellence on UN Millennium Development Goals (ARCMDG) in collaboration with the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), United Nations, ESCAP, UNESCO, MOFA and many other national, international and governmental institutions.

APMUN  aims to gather students from the five continents offering a higher-level atrium of confrontation and debate between culturally-diverse leaders, with the UN building as backdrop. More than 1000 delegates are expected to participate and work together as young Ambassadors and Press Officers in learning the importance of diplomatic negotiations while elaborating and finding solutions on current and critical international issues. In this way, students will  gain real experiences and preparation as future andeffective world leaders.

Through this Conference students will be able to not only build worldwide network of qualified peers but also obtain invaluable trainings and proficiency in leadership, critical  analysis, public speaking and persuasion and diplomatic negotiation.
